The company’s openwork relief sculpture – goldsmith’s art made to order by Kostylo Atelier
Crafting excellence: the process behind the openwork relief sculpture
After casting all the components, the next stage involved processing, which included grinding and fitting the elements together into a unified piece. There were numerous components to assemble, as the openwork company logo itself measured 100 cm x 100 cm.
The subsequent step was soldering the fitted elements together using silver solder.
Once everything was assembled and finely ground, the next stage involved polishing the entirety to achieve a high gloss, followed by applying a protective lacquer to prevent tarnishing.
