Gold-plated luxury sculpture of a large lotus flower
How we create a luxurious lotus flower ring sculpture
We began by sketching and then cutting the lotus flower’s base radius from a brass sheet.

The lotus flower’s petals were also cut from brass sheets in appropriate dimensions and proportions.

The cut lotus petals were shaped by hand under high temperatures, taking on forms very similar to natural lotus petals.

Once shaped, the brass lotus petals were meticulously grinded by hand.

We used a similar process to craft the luxurious lotus flower base, heating the brass sheet to very high temperatures and then manually forming eight lotus petals. We soldered the primary part and center of the lotus flower, where a beautiful, rare semi-precious striped flint stone would be set. As seen in the photo, this base was intricately hand-grinded.

The next step involved silver-soldering the first row of petals, which were hand-shaped under high temperatures.

The following photos show the silver-soldering of the lotus flower’s second and third rows of petals.

Once all the petals were silver-soldered, we began precise hand-grinding to remove excess solder and achieve a beautiful appearance.

The next process involved silver-soldering the previously prepared back elements of the ring.

After thorough hand-grinding and smoothing with sandpaper, our luxurious lotus flower ring sculpture began to take shape. The next stage was copper-plating the ring to fill any microscopic holes and create an even surface for gilding.

Meanwhile, we also hand-crafted the stone setting from a very rare striped flint with a beautiful pattern and polished it to a high gloss.

In the end, our luxurious lotus flower sculpture, made with a deep passion for goldsmithing and appreciation for art lovers, shines in its full splendor.
